1969 Corvette Custom
Good evening members, I plan to sell my 1969 Corvette custom and look to you all for some direction in fair pricing. Thanks for your opinions and consideration.
i bought it from the second owner in July of 2020. He purchased it on 12-16-1976 and fully customized it into a World of Wheels” Chicago winner. It started life as a base horsepower 350, low option, factory maroon, automatic coupe. He proceeded to install a 1970 dated LT1 four bolt main block from the Chevy Shop with the following mods: 202 angle plug heads, ported & polished Victor Jr. Intake Holley 800 carburetor Hooker chrome side pipes Accel dual point distributor Transmission: 400 with 3500 stall speed 4:11 rearend Front end completely rebuilt in 2019 as well as all new stainless sleeved brake calipers, new rotors and pads. New high flow pump in July of ‘20. The custom Imron paint was applied in 1981 when the L88 hood was installed: base coat burgundy, pearls, candy, crushed glass. Smoked T-tops then added. Interior: Diamond tucked seats and door panels. Driver bolster is worn exposing the piping. Cragar five spokes with BFG TA 60’s. I have the original motor on a stand which is included. The car has aged gracefully with 101K miles. There are some cosmetic flaws including the worse by the rear antenna when the previous owner caught the car cover under the tire. However, the “old school” paintwork is such that I never wanted to consider any paintwork. The car runs and drives excellent. Itis also pretty fast considering the age of the build. The previous owner made sure to lay down a huge burnout before I loaded it into the trailer back in July of 2020. |

If you look at older modified C3’s on the various auction sites you’ll see the typically bid/sell in the 20s. I’d probably ask $25k and see what kind of response you get. Just my $.02 Good luck!

If I wasn't in the middle of building a house, I'd be on your doorstep with the cash as that thing is killer! Kudos for keeping it old school!

I think that car looks great and it will probably bring more than most customized '71s.
