My brother and I were just recently talking about one that was in a garage on an engine stand in a nearby neighbors house we went to in the late 80's. The owner was a street rodder and was going to put into one of his personal builds. It too was a 427 SOHC. My last trip to Phoenix my brother and I tried to remember the house we went to but too much had changed in 30 years. It was on East Cindy Street in Chandler.

I bought the Super Mustang, the fastest Mustang in the world, it's SOHC powered

https://www.nhra.com/news/2018/super-mustang

It was at Charley's for a bit and being Charley of course he had to have a good laugh

If Charley or I got in I'm not sure we'd ever have got out!!!

There is a good chance that this could be the engine that Shaun Price has in his Starliner? If I remember correctly his engine came out of a street rod in the Chandler area? Shaun-you out there?
