As far as cleaning, WD40 works great. I use a scotch pad that will then be discarded.

Thanks Lynn I used WD40 for years on them . My daughter jokes that I’m like the guy w windex in that Greek wedding movie that sprays it in everything. Lol I live w wd40 in my hand 😂
