It doesn’t look like it has power steering. What a bear to turn that truck.

The ratio on these trucks is about 25:1 and isn't as bad as it might seem. It does help to be rolling a little though...

Keeping the king pins well greased is a must and another key element of the effort involved.

I sent a message to the seller asking for a pic of the tag on the glove box door and the weight tag on the pillar. Now there is a notice on the listing that he is away until the 12th...sigh... might be a good thing and I'll forget about this.








But, most likely not...
238 miles and 4 hours from home.
For a lifelong trucker, that's just getting the seat warmed up...
