Brake lines are a must. Even a coworker with a similar year F150 had rotted brake lines.
Trans and transfercase are maintenance items depending how previous owner operated the vehicle will determine the life left. My favorite pickup was an 01 Z71 LT, it drove nice, had soft seats and I never had to replace any drivetrain components before I sold it at 230k
