My son is standing looking over my shoulder and I just told him that little tidbit.

Photo looks like it was taken at the GM Proving Ground in Milford. There is a small storage lot in the interior of the circle track, between the city course and the short East/West Straightaway.

Since it is near "Hyne Rd" (which is a real local road that bisects the Proving Ground) is is known as "the Hyne Rd Pad".

Jim said several of the original Goat guys didn't humor the new look all too much, and that this ad was among the measures quickly assembled to appease them. Don't know when it first ran, but if the engine was out at the time, shoot could've roughly coincided w/428 install ...?
