Just got my new set of Michellin Pilot Sport 4S tires 275/40ZR20 from DiscountTireDirect. They had a $110 off flash sale which dropped the $393 price by $27.50 per wheel. Getting them installed this week. These things do seem a lot stickier already - they got dropped off by the Fedex truck and sat in my driveway for an hour. They were sticky from the heat already and picked up every piece of dirt and dust when I rolled them into the garage! I am looking forward to swapping out the Michellins for the fossilized hockeypuck Pirellis ASAP.

I also swapped out the factory brake pads (which make a ton of brake dust) with Powerstop Z36 pads front and rear.

It is amazing how far brakes have come in the past 30 years. The small four piston Brembo rear calipers on this car are the same Brembo calipers on the front of my 1993 Viper!

From what I have read, 90% of brake dust is iron particles from the rotors.
