Factory V8, power rear window and A/C car. Mostly complete except for engine, transmission, radiator, carpet, headliner, door panels (cargo panels are intact). Some rust below tailights but, fairly solid elsewhere. Someone started installing front floor pans. Needs finish welded. Doors are excellent. Fenders and hood are nice. Quarters have lower patches and still need body worked/block sanded etc. Sliding window channels are solid. Spare tire well solid. Factory turquoise with white top and turquoise interior. Fremont built lifelong west coast car. All 2 door specific moldings intact (side moldings and window moldings). Obviously this is a project but, fairly rare even for a 2 door wagon since it was a V8 and A/C car. Moving out of state. Have had it for a year.
Location: Fox Island, WA Price:$9,500 OBO. |

I really like these wagons; just horrible timing for me.
Hope it goes to a good home and gets all the attention to detail it deserves.

Definitely an oddball but, I think all 2 door 64/65 wagons were a bit odd. This one was turquoise with white painted top. I've always wished I could talk with the original owners of cars like this to see what their justification was in ordering some of the cars/options they did.

Neat project, GLWS. Looks like it was born with a 3-on-tree as well (no optional trans code in group 2 on the tag). So even weirder!
I once had a 67 300-Deluxe 2-door post car that was born with the big optional 6-cyl, 3-on-tree, no radio, manual drum brakes, and all clear glass, but with PS, AC, deluxe seatbelts, bumper guards and whitewall tires!

There were plenty of stock order 283 3 on the tree vehicles sold up here in the early/mid 60's. My dad bought a'66 Malibu new, off the lot, with that combo, no power anything and the next year a new lot bought '67 C10 with 283 3 on the tree, no power anything. Bunch of cheap Scandinavians lived around here back then... ![]()
