The car was restored to the owner's taste, and after the restoration was completed he sent for the GM Vintage documents. It was then discovered that this was the last L79 produced in Oshawa in 1966. The car was sent to GM Product Stock, not a dealership , It was then drag raced before being brought back to its current state. Had the paper been aquired earlier it would have been restored to correct colors.

Default Auction games

Last night I chose to block a bidder on my auction. Previously he had bid 10 times in a row trying to uncover the reserve. Last night he did it again, hit the reserve, retracted his bid, and then bid again below the reserve, I blocked him and cancelled his bid. It made my auction look suspect. Like shill bidding was being done.

I bailed on BAT because I could not tolerate the comments section. Instead my car got dissected on Steves Nova Site . Seems that some folks believe that a Documented L79 car
is no longer an L79 car because it lost its original engine.

I love buying cars. I hate selling cars.

No slight was intended in my post. Very reasonable reply to the colour change. That colour was very popular that year and if the owner was guessing or liked that colour he did it right.

Wish I had the $$ to put it my garage beside my 66 Biscayne.
