I guess after 10 years of Illinois winters, this is what a Corvette should look like. You could buy it and sink over $100,000 in it and have a $90,000 car. The math will never work out on this car, what a shame.

That car was part of an estate sale last weekend. I met a fellow who went to the auction specifically for this car. He did not bid because is was THAT bad

Many times it starts out with an innocent, uninformed question, “can you adjust my doors, they don’t close well”. Then the gut wrenching news comes. A friend had a customer who had unfortunately just lost his wife, went with a friend who was going to check out a car at an Ohio based Corvette dealer. Never going with the intention of buying, he bought a 67 vert. When he got it home, the doors closed so poorly he took it to my buddy who had to deliver the bad news. Between the sale price of car and the body off repair and paint he was in for about 150 on a small block car. This was about 12 years ago.
