Ad states the "Car was resprayed in the '90s..."

Well, close. Long-time bud Jack painted and striped the car for me about 1986. Done in lacquer in a 2-car garage [4 light fixtures] on the NW side of Milwaukee. I bought the materials [$400] Jack charged me $800. I was somewhat of a pest so I gave his wife $50. We still laugh about that. Or at least I do.

He went on to paint several other cars for us including ZL-1#4 and a '67 Z/28 now in the Brothers Collection. He restored a black '68 Z/28 in the early 2000s that won Best Paint at a Goodguys show. Did ALL of it including building the drive train. All this in a small garage.

A beautiful facility is nice but nothing replaces skill and talent.

Those are YOM plates, but my 10/68 VN built Z original plate is XMG 755,still on the car today.
