The First 1965 Corvette Convertible

----I first saw this car in 1977/78 time frame at a local NCRS meet in the Chicago suburbs. The then owner drove it down from Michigan for the day and then drove home. Several of us there were all over it. My memory varies a little bit from the description and pics, but not much. We looked at the trim tag, of course, and I remember the car originally being black. The paint was heavily weathered. The description mentions Cadillac carpet which is probably correct but the carpet was cut pile not the pictured loop style. It did have saddle leather and it was dyed as by that time some of the dye had worn away showing the original color. What a great car and fantastic Nabors restoration!!!.....Bill S
