IIRC, Corvette was the only GM car I can remember that had dual pin pad retaining calipers and that was on the J-56 Heavy Duty brake system required on the L-88's and ZL-1's

Yes, I do remember that Bill, and also a story about a guy taking his calipers in to be rebuilt on a a Corvette he bought and they had dual cotter pins. The shop he took them to said to drop the fuel tank and see if it said L-88 on the tank sticker, and Walla! Another L-88 Found!

Them were the days.
