The L48 350 engine was the only engine available for the 72 SS Nova. Checking my books, they do show 2 cams for that motor. The #3896929 has .390 intake and .410 exhaust.....the other camshaft #340284 has .401 and .410. There are also minor differences in the duration numbers...310/320 vs. 320/334.
Not sure anyone would notice the difference unless it impacts a 'smog check'... Interesting topic... -wilma

Thanks for this info. I looked on the 72 Nova Heritage info and saw the two different cams used as specified.
