I have built numerous motors in my life. Clearly the deck has been cut. Once you stamp that block there is no going back which that is one thing I will NEVER do.one thing I wondered is if the deck was bad and you had to take .010 off I would document it with a video for a fail safe solid proof. I mean it could have got hot etc and needs it. Now "OK" if it has paper and cks out cool. But do not lie when it is evident it has been stamped and the wrong number to boot.
