Here is some research I did on this car .
There was an old article that said the Gary Dodd Camaro was "the old Dana Camaro" but it is not clear if it was the #1 black Dana Camaro drag car. Maybe it was the other blue Dana Camaro drag car with Nordskog sponsorship (I posted a pic of it earlier) A search on "Nordskog" showed a company that sold 240 Z/V8 conversion kits and was based in California Looks like Gary converted his 67 to a 1968 Camaro for 1970 Pro Stock. NHRA 1970 Pro Stock rule stated the car must be 1968 and newer models. |
