Lots of good information here. Great reference photos!
These engine bay photos show exactly what Factory components were used, such as the rubber fuel hose and the PCV hose (GAS GAS GAS). Also the alignment lines on the top radiator hose and short heater hose. Heavy duty 4 core radiator that was mandatory with the high performance Tri-Power engine. Rubber fuel hose from filter to 4 way brass fuel block which was used on a Pontiac build. Fremont built cars typically used the steel U shaped fuel line around the front carb. The 5178 written on the front carb bowl. Flat top rubber cap to seal the hollow rear carb mounting stud. The 3 way plastic plug wire separator. |
