Story #2:

Howard Maseles used to drive the truck for Arnie.

Howard said they were back east somewhere, heading for the west coast, and the brakes went out on the truck.

Arnie said "that's ok; you can just use engine braking and we'll fix the brakes when we get back home".

Howard said he didn't recall that they ever did fix the brakes on that truck.
