Hi Bill,

I was 21 years old and passionate about the mid-year “C2” Corvettes at the time.
I still am!

I recall buying it from a guy that said the vette had been wrecked and parted out.
I paid $300 for it in 1975 and took some grief from my buddies as it was expensive.

To my knowledge it’s Factory Original and has never been refurbished.
Bare in mind, it was only 10 years old at the time.

I’ve seen many teak wheels over the years and I’m aware of the subtle differences, such as the grip (notches on the backside) of a Real one verses a reproduction.

The lighting in my photos tends to give a gloss look, but that’s not a true representation.

As you know, not two Teak Wheels are the same. Some are light, some dark.
The colors on this wheel are perfectly blended and make for a Superior end result.

That’s probably why I paid to damn much for it in ‘75.
