Sorry to hear of your difficulties with your headers, but I have to say that this seems to be a common, common malady. These cars are around 50 years old or more, and that so many companies can't make a set of headers that fit cleanly escapes me. Why? I bought a set of Hedman headers because the ones I had previously bought didn't fit well at all and I had to dent one tube so much that I wasn't comfortable running it. But, even the new Hedman set had to be dented about 1/4" to 1/2" where the manual steering box sits; I can't image putting a set in with power steering and AC, etc.. Just seems so strange to me that they haven't gotten this down yet.
