Not sure what they are for? Maybe something to do with a 6 cyl hanger for exhaust? Regardless, all 69s have those holes and it has nothing to do with being a copo and they are not used for anything on a copo.

Those 2 holes he has circled are not supposed to be there. They must've had something mounted there. Was the car a race car?...Joe

I am working with the original owner who raced it at the track some, but didn't remember doing anything with these holes. He also drove the car as a daily driver. Today it has a little over 12,800 miles on it The second owner of the car also raced it, but unfortunately has passed away. The third owner of the car did not race it. I believe I am the forth owner of the car. When I bought it the previous owner had started to restore it and disassembled most of it. The second owner of the car was a little more "disrespectful" of the car and put a few holes in her... it was just a race car ... If they don't belong, then I will plan to get them patched up. I really appreciate all your help and comments! I've been a member for a while but never posted. |
