Default Dinner...

just finished veal chops...very tasty and tender.

Need to walk around the block before dessert....blackberry cobblers in a cast iron skillet...

4 ounce lobster tail, broiled... 6 skewered shrimp, broiled...both in drawn butter with a side of broiler roasted potatoes and carrots.
Next up is a linnet movie with popcorn halfway thru and then wait for the neighbors to get done with their fireworks and MAYBE get to sleep around 1 am...

Blackberry cobbler is my absolute favorite cobbler. For my new years good luck meal it's pork jowl bacon and black eyed peas. Some of us do that down here and others do some type of greens with black eyed peas. A good friend goes for a motorcycle ride on Jan 1 every year. He says whatever you do on the first is what you'll likely do throughout the year..
