Great hood at a decent price.

Now that the hood is sold, I don't feel bad hijacking this thread.

I have one exactly like this. A bit rough, but salvageable for sure. In fact, it even has old yellow paint in some places and black Z stripes.

My ducted hood has some paint damage, and has to come off for a complete strip and repaint. I thought it would be cool to restore the stinger hood first, so that my car would have a hood while I was working on the original.

So, my questions are;
1. Can I use my original hood latch? If so, I would either need to install dummy hood pins or locks (have a set of really cool hood locks I got from Charley a few years ago) or would need to fill in the hood pin holes.
2. If I use the original latch, what springs would I use? I am afraid I would break the hood using the original hood hinge springs.
