Another one of my favorite muscle cars back in the day Rambler Scrambler, light, quick and a blast to drive. That 390 ci 315 horsepower motor could beat a lot of BB Fords, Chevy's, and Mopar's.Type: ohv V-8. Engine specs below, 425 torque lbs gets that car moving also.
Displacement, cid: 390 Fuel system: 1 x 4bbl. Compression ratio: 10.2:1 Horsepower @ rpm: 315 @ 4600 Torque @ rpm: 425 @ 3200 Last edited by RALLY; 10-31-2020 at 06:50 PM. |

Give me the Rambler Scrambler with cross ram any day over the AMX. Lighter car, quicker. Good info.

Found Rambler Scrambler weighed in at 2994 vs 3074 for AMX. Both cars with 390- 315 horsepower engines ran 14.2 Scrambler vs 14.4 AMX. I am comparing the 390-315 horsepower motors here.
