Just for what it's worth and not trying to nitpick, but if it's an X77, then drop the reference of it being an RS as you could not order the RS Option on an X77 coded car. Someone may have added it and that's fine, but an X77 car is simply a Z/28.
Being that you have a CE Block already, I would NOT waste any money trying to date correct the carb. If it has a 4053 carb in it now and it runs fine, leave it alone and use it. Looks like a decent little driver.

What is on it for a carb now beater? I have a 942 dated body (that needs a choke plate) plus I have correct metering blocks. You could use your current baseplate ....I need $350. PM me if interested. I really like that car - good buy.

That might work!! Let me see if I have a correct baseplate. Thanks on the car I feel good about the price, I was a little hesitant I already bought a 71 Z and a 70 V Code 6 Pack Cuda this year, but couldn't pass it up...
