That wad of "dum-dum" where the tail panel meets the quarter caught my eye in those photos. Had never seen nor hear of such a thing. Is it known to be present on other survivors? It was obviously applied after paint and looks like it would do a great job of holding water right where you wouldn't want it?

It might've been a walk by now that I think about it. Heck, I've slept since then. Guy might've said that's Bruce. You always seemed to be the center of attention when we saw you. We'll meet hopefully soon. We only live about 100 miles apart...Joe
