Can you show a side view of the vent tube please?
Is it one 90° bend,or two 45° bends?

If the air cleaner base is sitting on the carburetor the vent tube is pointing to the right front fender. Another way to explain it is the vent tube comes out of the base on a right angle hence 90 degrees. I do not see two 45 degree bends. PM me if you still would like additional photos.
