Mecum live Eddie Vannoy auction reaches results of $15 million

The on-site auction of the Eddie Vannoy Collection of collector cars and automobilia in Jefferson, North Carolina, was the first live auction by Mecum Auctions since the pandemic lockdown in March, although much of the bidding was conducted online or over the phone.
The auction of the museum collection held June 26-30 resulted in $15 million sales, according to a Mecum news release, “a number that significantly exceeded pre-auction expectations.” Auction results include buyer fees.
