Wow, I thought Costco was supposed to be cheaper than that?

The $2.49 I paid yesterday for 91 octane was at the local Maverick.

Well, it's in Southern California. Ya know where oil is and refineries are. Should be at least on par with the rest of the country, but I think they know they have a HUGE captive audience. It is about $1.00 cheaper than the last time I filled up!

A few weeks ago I filled up at Costco at 2.599. I filled up today.

Need I say more about West Coast gas prices?

Wow, why the jump?

I went to the same Maverick this morning to top off, and 91 dropped another 10 cents to $2.29 a gallon from just a few days ago when I was there.

I couldn't tell ya. It's SoCal. We have oil wells, refineries, LOTS of people and cars. I guess they figure we have money to blow with everything that's going on.
