Oh well. You can still come and watch, and let that sick feeling overtake you knowing that you could have been out there smoking tires, shifting gears and exploding clutches with the rest of us. And being the super Dave that you are, you still have time to get something else ready to run.

Dave, don't you have another 'Cuda in one of your many warehouses out there at Area 51? A 440 6bbl? Consider the Grape Escape to be a practice run for your 440+6 Cuda.

I've been following along for a while and I love the crusty 'cuda. It reminds me of a cross between my two cars... a beater class '68 H/O and a relatively presentable 'cuda.
I was heading down a path to restore the H/O, but I've been having so much fun driving it that I'm not motivated to restore it yet. Maybe MCACN needs a display for cars that started as barn finds but quit rehab halfway through ![]() Either way, the 'cuda is going to look sharp restored. Gotta love an In Violet, shaker, 4 speed car... looking forward to both of your restoration work! Luke
