1969 Used 327 Bare Block- Std Bore Block number 3959512

I have a good used 1969 327 Bare Block for sale. Block cast number 3959512. Engine pad stamped 0411FC. 327-250 horsepower 2 bolt main.
Cast Date B-27-9. Standard Bore- Large Journal. I talked to John Hinckley Chevy Corvette guru and retired GM engineer about this 327 block. John states this 9512 block only had one production application 1969 passenger 327 2-barrel automatic, but this block was used for many years as the primary Service replacement and CE 5/50 warranty block for 4 inch bore applications. It was the last block that was cast with the crankshaft vent tube hole at the back, and was machined in both small journal- large journal configurations. Restorers like the 9512 block as they can have a proper functional and correct PCV system and still use the early finned aluminum valve covers without holes. This is the info John shared with me.
