If you're in a falling elevator, there's not much to worry about, until the very end. You might say the hysterical lady standing next to you is overreacting, but maybe she understands the situation better than you do.

Or maybe she's bought into the panic you haven't. There are several sides to this story. I think caution and not putting yourself into compromising positions, especially if you're on the higher end of the danger spectrum, is the best course of action. Otherwise, go about your business, intelligently living and staying informed.

True. Or maybe she's trained in falling elevators, so she knows what she's screaming about.

Another analogy; guy falls off a 20 story building. At the 10th floor, he says, "So far, so good"

I'm with you, I believe in prudence, not panic, but I think those who are recommending prudence may be better informed than we are. Some confuse prudent measures with panic. My son is a doctor, and he has called twice this week to stress how serious this is, and that we are still in the early stages. Smart people are giving us advice, that I plan to follow. Others may choose a different course of action.

Well said Unreal. The last 2 days have been exhausting at work trying to figure out how to deal with all of the restrictions, anxiety, slow down in business, employees worried about other employees returning from vacation abroad and bringing Covid-19 to the office, calls about family members quarantined, customers asking for our written Pandemic plan...I’m on my second whiskey...
