We will know for sure when somebody steps up...but, my sense is the granny color and plain Jane motor are part of the reason the car survived. If this had been a V8 car or performance model in a flashier color, it probably wouldn't be in this condition. If it was a low mile survivor car with the right paint and engine, it would likely be a lot more than $29k.
Time will tell... -wilma

This car in IMO is worth 20-25K just for the low mileage original body and interior. We all know what body and paint cost. You couldn’t restore a rusted out body for that amount. This car would be a great car for a copo replica. Like another member said an L88 CX Trans. and a 4.10 rear.

If it belonged to someone here I would just keep my opinion to myself. Since it does not belong to someone here I will state that I think anyone that thinks this car is worth 29k is crazy. If the same car was a '70 Malibu convertible I'd be down with the 29k. |

I get it's your opinion, however in my opinion that is strong money. For example the 68 I sold, for a tad less had only 5400 miles, and was a V8. I like the car and they are only original one. https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthread.php?t=154992 I'm not sure the intent of your post, members have opinions that should be respected, not sure your post was representative of that towards our members.

Drive it just like that to any cars-coffee, etc., and watch a majority of the people scratch their heads because it doesn't have SS emblems, Rallys, a crate 502, etc. "I didn't know they made them like this!" LOL!
