The car is a real SS, but with the lowest engine offered with the SS. If you're ok with a combination of unrestored & restored, this is a great car.

So this car ended bids at $25k without meeting the reserve - would have expected stronger bidding.
For a second I thought the car in the link below was the same one, but it's not - although they are similar (this one isn't a Super Sport): Link to 1961 348/4-sp Impala auction  11837A116903
