I bought a pair of US Royal 670-15 tires for my skinny Cragars thinking they'd be 27.5" tall like it says on Coker's website. They're more like 28+, which I think is too much for a Nova, so now I'm looking at 560-15 tires. Which would be more period correct for 70-72, US Royal or Pro-Trac? I like the pie crust of the US Royals, but the Pro-Trac for sure looks excellent on Cragars.

I tried the 5.60.15's on my little grey 70 last spring and found they were just too short. Really looked too small IMO. I later went with the 6.40.15 Firestones and think I nailed the look with the Cragar's and 640's on it prior to selling the car. I didn't like the big rubber cut on the inside profile of the Pro Trac either. Here are the Coker Firestones.

I think the Pro Tracs are too short on my Camaro. I'm wanting something a little taller.

Does anyone have an actual diameter or circumference measurement of the 560-15 Pro-Tracs?

Grump had to have bigger than 560-15 on his 68 Nova bbbenny somehow managed to fit 710-15 on his race car

NorCam, that looks good. Those are supposed to be 27.3" tall. Did you ever measure them?

			Reported at 27.01 tall.

I didn't measure them but they fit the wheel openings really nicely I thought. I added some Pro Trac 275/60 rears just before it sold. That balanced out the look as the front sat just a touch high on this car. Always did.

I have a brand new set of 5.60-15 Pro-Tracs never mounted. They measure 25.5" tall with no wheel in them.

Hmm, ground clearance would be tight with only 25.5" of front tire. Might look a little short too.
