My parents would get pissed off everytime this commercial came on because I would crank the volume way up! lol

There was a car like that that was in the ISCA show circuit in the late 60's. Might've been the same car. I remember on the side of car it read "It's a great car Dad...I only made it better"

The father is Edward Andrews or "Grandpa Howard" from Sixteen Candles. The kid looks like Danny Bonaduce but it's not.

It must have been the same car.I wonder if it had a a AMC motor.Actually their 390/401 BB could make a lot of power with the right parts.
