I saw four XI wheels with tires and dog dishes at the Peotone swap meet maybe 15 years ago and wasn't sure about them either. The wheels were painted white. I kicked myself after I got home and looked in Chevrolet By The Numbers and found there was no XI wheel listing. My opinion.... they are XT's with a sloppy stamping. At the time, I was carrying a wheel measuring caliper so I was absolutely sure they were 14 X 7. Live and learn.

Bought these wheels this weekend. Once I got them home and cleaned up, no doubt they are XT's. Wish he could find the other one. He told me if he finds it, he'll sell it to me. Here's some pics...you can faintly see the top of the "T" on 2 of the wheels, I can't on the other one. While we're talking about these wheels, I see what looks like the original paint on both sides of the wheel as well as around the circumference. My question is when these were painted by the factory, did they apply full coverage everywhere or just the surface facing out?
