 Staff at the National Corvette Museum announced the purchase of an 8,000-square-foot building next to the Museum located at 150 Corvette Drive for $1.3 million. The building will provide urgently needed storage space for the Bowling Green facility. The added space will easily accommodate more donated cars and memorabilia, many of which had to be stored at the nearby NCM Motorsports Park and at the Museum itself. The new building will allow the curator and staff to consolidate everything at one location, providing more room for added collections. The growing collections will include more cars, racing suits, car parts and other memorabilia. The NCM is also planning to provide a studio for photographing cars as well as conducting video interviews.
