That's the same car. Dan inherited the car when his Dad Tom died. He hit the NHRA circuit and never looked back. I know he has 100 or more Class Wins. Pretty sure this is what the car looks like today, past major sponsors were Summit Racing (with a 1/18 scale model) and K&N Filters. Dan is a class act with two sons following his lead.
I know of one other local Z/28 that also left Taylor Chevrolet and went straight to the race track. Mike |
