Joe,

The NAPA belts I tried are cogged on the bottom and are not very thick. They appeared to be made by Continental Belt and a buddy of mine also tried one and said they are junk...and he's a Napa dealer. They don't have much of a V to the underside and slip like you would believe. Tried two of them on my 68 with stock deep groove pulleys and it was painful.

Looking for an original style V-Belt and nothing cogged if I can help it?

Graeme,

Those are Gates belts. They changed them years ago in order to reduce the amount of SKU's. Have you thought of repro belts? They would be the correct width, depth, and angle.
