----Tony,,, No disrespect but whose pads are they? If they are a bit off as is somewhat typical of offshore pads they tend to do what you are describing. There is no anti rattle springy thingy that I know of. When you apply the brake you are forcing the pads to one end and they stay there till you let off the brakes and apply throttle. Then they are going slightly back and forth and they rattle because they have too much clearance on both ends. Get the best US made pads you can find and see what happens. Hope this helps...….Bill S
