I found my issue with the car running bad......a couple years ago I got a wire hot but didn’t seem to be too bad......well, it was and it finally came back to haunt me. It was the resistor wire that fed the coil.
I had a friend tell me to run a wire directly from my battery to my 1.6 ohm resistor for the new distributor. It fired right up and ran great. So I ordered a new engine wire harness and it arrived yesterday. I will be installing it this weekend. Kurt
