Fantastic story and car. It's the same model/color that raced the '55 to it's demise in 2lanebacktop!

Funny thing... a guy nicknamed Spoolie owned that El Camino. Last I read he was still alive. And that scene was shot in...Tennessee where this car is from. Weird.
