Might try this:

I haven't myself (yet), but it is a brite-dip anodize not the trim so it should be the right stuff. If you do try it, please report back.

I stripped the anodized surface on moldings from my 71 Nova. Polished them to a chrome-like finish and sprayed Boeshield T-6 on them to protect ... Craig
