70 L78 Block...
Our 70 Gold L78 was punched out to 427...I had all the cylinders checked for thickness, they were fine, plenty of meat. It was about the best running of all the cars...stock motor, flat intake, no tricks...made about 440hp. on the dyno.
It was mated to the correct CW coded TH400 with factory 6 lug converter and 3.55 rear...it would really run. I miss it  -wilma **still think you should keep the CE motor with the car...
