There's not anything in the assembly manual on the power seat track. MAY be some info in a Fisher Body manual but likely just some drawings or pics.

I just checked my '70 Olds Chassis Service manual and not a thing in there either.

Pull the thing out if you can get to the track bolts (after first checking for a bad ground or something more "obvious" with it still in place and w/power to the seat motor) and start checking, pulling parts, cleaning, re-lubing, etc. If it's never been messed with a thorough cleaning and relubing of the various parts is going to help any way.
