Those are only correct for 70-72 models. 68 and 69 were both one year only pieces...hard to find. For an SS car the chrome ribs would need to be painted black...you see a lot of restored SS Novas with these bezels. Most folks don't know the difference.

It's only the 5 inner ribs between the screw holes that are black on the SS isn't it Tom? Meaning the very top and bottom ribs remain chrome if I stand correct?

You are correct...the blacked out ribs match with the blacked out grille.
