The IBM System 360 (model 30) was announced on April 7, 1964. Shipments started at the end of 64/beginning of 1965.

Default Printers

The printers that were used to print the window stickers and other documents were the IBM 1401, 1460 and finally the IBM 1403. We built our font program from original samples of the IBM 1403 which was used for many years at all GM plants.
