Thanks - having a blast with it. Just got this in the mail today. Joe Perri laid his hands on my original RC-15. Thanks to this site for the steerage to Joe and his great restorations...

Next little project is to “restore“ the towbar. The original owner’s (Wayne) way to get to the track in the early years was to tow with his dad‘s 66 Ford short bed. I wanted to maintain the original look of my tow bar so I cleaned and derusted (with Metal Rescue) first followed by a light rub down with quad ought steel wool, and then finished off with a coat of Johnson’s paste wax. If room permits I’ll attach the towbar to the tabs at the show. Here is how they turned out ...
