I heard that happened to a cruiser from Massachusetts.

Whatever sticks out of the hood cannot exceed 1/3 the height of the windshield.

If his Mustang is tagged street rod or antique, he may be able to beat it.

"A guy in a FB group I'm in has a '65 Mustang Pro Streeter with a blower and he was in town for a couple hours and got several tickets, so he packed it up and left. I guess the cops are cracking down a lot in OC."

I was there Friday thru Saturday and saw many LEOs riding alongside cars with blowers, etc standing tall. Cars tagged in MD either Street Rod or Historic are immune to mechanical/safety inspections, which is what that would fall under. Doesn't mean they cannot issue inspection tickets...just means the vehicles themselves are not required to comply. Cars tagged out of state?...no clue. All of the vehicles I saw (in my own myopic world) stopped by LEOs were for people acting stupid on public roads. BTW...CC-rider...I saw you go cruise by a few times in the Chevelle...nice car

Thanks for the kind words about the Chevelle. That car was flawless the entire week. Never ran hot, and actually cooled down when sitting still in traffic.

Most of the cars I saw stopped by LEOs were daily drivers and residents.

Exactly, what I saw from my perch on 71st St was Camrys and big 4x4s with kids loaded in the bed.....

A buddy sent me this pic of some carnage Saturday afternoon in front of the Bayside Skillet....about 10 minutes after I came through there. Hope no one was hurt.
